There are several ways to get involved in the development of gender services in Wales.
Trans Wales Partnership
The Trans Wales Partnership is a stakeholder group that meets monthly to discuss progress and plans to develop gender services in Wales.
This group includes representatives of the Welsh Gender Service, Umbrella Cymru, and several trans-run / led groups and organisations across Wales, as well as individuals with an interest in, or experience of accessing gender services.
We encourage anyone who would like to be involved in the development of gender services in Wales to register their interest in joining the group.
Meetings are arranged by Umbrella Cymru. You can read more information about the volunteer member role and register your interest by clicking the link below (look in the Volunteering section for Trans Wales Partnership Member).
Volunteer at the Clinic
Cardiff and Vale University Health Board offer volunteering opportunities across many services they deliver.
The Clinic encourage applications to become a volunteer. There are a range of key tasks you could be responsible for as a volunteer, including meeting and greeting people as they arrive for their appointments, sitting on interview panels, contributing to the design and development of policies and practices and more.
